We’re so glad you’re here

Welcome to Roam Acres Farm, our small family horse farm that has been a source of peace and solace for ourselves and our clients for years.

Our Values

“Reins on a Mission”

At Roam Acres Farm, the welfare of our horses is paramount. We do not see them as tools to use to serve our clients, but as sentient partners that deserve to be well cared for, both physically and emotionally. This means that in all of our interactions with the horse, we want them to be able to communicate their feelings and have the option to consent or not consent to what we are asking of them. This is why we teach all clients, whether in riding lessons or therapeutic services, about equine body language very early on so that we can honor their needs. As a Natural Lifemanship practitioner, Lacy abides by the NL principles in all of the iterations of her work.

We also uphold these same principles of attunement, respect, and consent with all of our clients and professional partnerships. Roam Acres Farm is always aiming to be an inclusive and safe space for all that step through our gates. We welcome people from of all backgrounds, beliefs, and walks of life. Hate of any kind is not tolerated at our farm.
